MINA AGOSSI

Mina Agossi is a musical innovator. Using just the bass, drums and voice Mina is able to paint the most vivid musical pictures which have become popular all over the world. With four records on the Candid label under her belt Mina has becomes a favourite particularly in her native France where she regularly performs with jazz legends like Archie Shepp. Mina's 2005 album "Well You Needn't" earned her five star reviews in the top French Jazz publications; Jazzman and Jazz Magazine and went to the top ten in the French Jazz Charts. Mina is also well known in America where she recorded her live album" Who Wants Love" during a two-night billing at the Jazz Standard in New York. She was also invited to headline at the International Association for Jazz Education conference held in New York in January 2007 where she impressed over 8000 educators, musicians and industry experts.

In 2008 Mina released her third Album under the Candid Label "Simple Things" which displayed her continued growth as a musician. Described as "the Bjork or jazz" Mina's live performances have become legendary and continue to impress wherever she goes.
