NATALIE WILLIAMS: SOUL FAMILY

Soul Family started in 2002 in a little basement bar in Angel, Islington accommodating no more than 40 people. In those days it was a group of musicians fresh out of music college who wanted a chance to jam together. From here these nights grew, first into WKD in Camden and then into the Rex club in Soho. This is where the magic started happening and the Soul Family evolved into an actual 'family' of musicians and artists who would play a mixture of original material and cover versions in an excitingly impromptu ad hoc setting. Apart from the core band members notable artists who were part of that movement were Nate James, Oggie and Amy Winehouse.

Soul Family now has a monthly residency at the legendary Ronnie Scotts Club in Soho and has a reputation for being the hottest tickets in town due to its collection of top class musicians featuring the best vocalists in Britain (and the world). All thanks to Natalie's eye for talent and unbelievable determination.
