CORMAC KENEVEY

Dublin born singer Cormac Kenevey has been captivating audiences all over Ireland and the UK for several years with his unique blend of melodic phrasing.

His debut album 'This Is Living' was the result of his collaboration with pianist Phil Ware and his Trio with whom Kenevey frequently appears. Cormac's second album "The Art of Dreaming" was released on Candid in March 2008. This album saw a maturation both as a performer and a songwriter.

Cormac has built a well-earned reputation as a leading performer of both originals and the popular songbook. Though still in his twenties, his mature delivery and heartfelt interpretations display a great regard for those artists whom he cites as major influences (Mel Tormé, Frank Sinatra, Mark Murphy, Kurt Elling and Al Jarreau.)
